Q: Under the background of Made in China 2025, equipment manufacturing is the core and pillar of the manufacturing industry. What is your company's development plan and strategy in 2021? How to better apply the company's products to the equipment manufacturing industry?
A: In 2021, Baidu will launch a new industrial Internet platform. With the help of Baidu artificial intelligence, big data, cloud computing, IoT, maps and other comprehensive technologies and products, as well as the accumulation of rich data resources, Baidu will provide industrial enterprises, industries and regional governments with overall industrial Internet solutions. For the equipment manufacturing industry, we will give priority to using the AI visual inspection technology accumulated by Baidu over the years, and work with equipment manufacturing partners to build product appearance quality inspection equipment integrating hardware and software, so as to help industrial enterprises reduce the cost of product quality inspection.
Q: Could you please tell us the highlight of Baidu's AI algorithm platform at VisionChina2021(Shanghai)?
A: This year, Baidu will showcase the latest updated version of Baidu's industrial intelligent vision platform, as well as relevant solutions around the platform. The biggest highlight of this platform is that at the level of autonomous control, it integrates more deeply with Baidu Flying Par Deep Learning framework and Baidu Kunlun AI chip, resulting in better model effect and lower computing cost. Platform to fully support the model training, pictures and video of AI and classification, segmentation and detection, OCR built-in scene model is a comprehensive upgrade, at the same time the implementation with baidu kunlun AI box, smart cameras, such as terminal completely through, can let the customer zero threshold to AI model training after a key to quickly sent to the edge of the terminal, Realize rapid deployment and landing of high precision call model.
Q: What are your expectations for VisionChina2021 Shanghai this year?
A: Baidu has been in the industrial machine vision industry for nearly 4 years with the industry's leading AI vision technology. We have met many close partners and served a number of head industrial enterprises together. We have landed a large number of visual detection cases and accumulated rich experience. The market of industrial machine vision is very large. Baidu expects to have in-depth cooperation with more integrators, optical manufacturers and equipment manufacturers on the exhibition based on its good AI vision technology and platform, including multiple dimensions such as project, product, plan and capital, to expand the market together and create greater value for industrial enterprise customers.
